2012 Mississauga Maple Syrup FestivalThis March break, why not take the kids to check out Mississauga’s Maple Syrup Festival?  It’s on from March 10 to 18 & March 24 & 25, 2012 in case you’re going away for March Break.

The Maple Syrup Festival in Mississauga is open weekdays from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Weekends from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Bradley Museum, 1620 Orr Road, Mississauga

Family admission $17.17 (+tax)

Maple Syrup Festival Activities include:

• Tap a tree
• Tour the sap line
• Children’s crafts and games
• Historic demonstrations
• Electronic scavenger hunts through Geocaching
• Forestry bucket rides and wood carving on weekends
• Horse and wagon rides available daily for $2 per person
• Fresh pancakes made daily served with real maple syrup, $5 per serving
• Additional food vendor on-site

• March 24 & 25 sponsored by Friends of the Museums

This March Break check out the Maple Magic ‘A taste of history’ at the Bradley Museum.

Visitors to Maple Magic can tap a maple tree, tour the sap line, visit the Maple gift shop and create crafts in the log cabin.  Hot pancakes with real maple syrup and horse & wagon rides are also available.
